FishRegs may use basic website analytics to understand page visits and feature usage. Custom events use waterbody and species identifiers, result counts, query length, and checker outcome categories. They do not include search text, fish length, precise location, names, or contact information.

Why it is collected

These aggregate signals help evaluate whether anglers can find and use the regulation pages. Analytics is disabled unless the site owner configures a provider.

Data use
