Green River, Northeastern Utah

FishUtah groups the Green River from the Colorado state line to Desolation Canyon. Roundtail chub must be released from the state line to Sand Wash; downstream harvest rules must be checked for the exact reach. Protected native fish must be immediately released. Utah rules do not authorize fishing in Colorado or on tribal waters; separate access and permits may be required. FishUtah warns that private land occurs along this reach; do not cross private properties to access the river.
